So, I'm thinking I just gotta get out of here. Halida holds too many damn memories. I know I won't be able to forget. Not even sure i would want to. I just don't want to be surrounded 24-7 with things that remind me of him. I know its been over a year but there is no rule that says that you have to be done mourning in a year.
I'm gonna miss my friends and family. Brian and Beth. But I really think I need to do this. I've been looking for a place, maybe in chicago. Not too far. But chicago is big enough to lose yourself in, if you want to. And trust me, I want to.

I take my coffee with 2 creams, no sugar.
I have been to England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Japan. (some more than once)
I hate clowns. They freak me out, a lot.
My guitar’s name is Sylvia. Why? I don’t know.
I think my family is very suburban. My dad is a business man. My mom is a first grade teacher. I have a younger brother. Heck, I even had a dog growing up.
I used to get really bad allergies in the spring. I still have to take shots one a month to keep them from getting really bad.
My family and I are Unitarian Universalist.
My dad wants me to go into the corporate world like him. I think I really disappointed him when I told him I didn’t want to.
I actually like the holidays. I don’t mind spending quality time with my family. We get along pretty well. I have a lot of good memories of the holidays.
I am fluent in ASL (American Sign Language) My brother, Brian, is deaf. My parents have a pretty good grasp on the language (out of necessity) but aside from Brian, I am the only one in my family who is fluent.
Someday, I want kids. And I will adopt here. There are plenty of kids who need good homes right here in America.
In high school I wasn’t in any clubs or sports. As a result, I didn’t really have many friends in high school. I wasn’t a social outcast or anything, just wasn’t part of a big group.
My best friend, Elizabeth, and I actually had a few classes together in high school but we didn’t really become friends till college.
Beth runs a bookshop with her mom. Back in 2007, She started an open mic night every Friday. I go every week. It is one of the most rewarding experiences in my life.
I’m not a big fan of fast food. If I have to go to a fast food place, I try and get a salad.
I can’t stand heavy metal. Hurts my ears/brain.
I’m not a big sports person. I will only watch football with Brian and sometimes we go out in the backyard and toss/kick a ball around. That’s about as much as I do sport wise.
Brian is not only a brother, but a friend to me as well. I love him unconditionally and would do anything for him.
I came out to my family when I was 16. My family as a whole was pretty supportive. I got really lucky that way. My mom even joined PFLAG.
I really like to cook. I can’t bake for crap but I love cooking. I watch a lot of food network.
I can drive (I even have a car), but I prefer to take public transit. Cheaper and more eco-friendly. Win-win.
I graduated in spring of ’08 with a Bachelors in Business. I got that degree before I told my dad I didn’t want to go into business. Oh well. I’m sure it will be useful somewhere.
My sleep pattern is very erratic. Sometimes I can go days without more than an hour of sleep. Other times, I can sleep for 8-10 hours, wake up, go pee, and go right back to sleep for another 8-10 hours.
I am a sucker for romance. Not cheesy, but romantic things.
If I was born a girl, my parents would have named me Abigail. (Abby, for short)

Well, I would have to put my money on:

1. Grief - Having the love of your life die while you watch, powerless to help, can do that to you
2. Some weird foreign disease - From one of those buisness trips dad is always taking me on.
3. Public transportation accident - Have you seen the bus drivers here?
4. Old age or something related - like being 92 and falling down the stairs or something
5. Coffee Shop Brawl - Not from starting but probably from trying to play the hero and break it up. (People can get crazy over their damn coffee. Sometimes i wonder what starbucks puts in there...)

Not even sure what to put here yet. I just wanted to get the first post out of the way. No guarantees that I will update often. Never really had a journal before. Never really needed one. I vented emotions through my music. But now... I just have more to deal with.
